If you’re reading this, you’ve already won the lottery.
A century ago virtually everyone made a living by performing some type of physical labor. Most people worked somewhere in the agricultural supply chain. Irrespective of his level of income virtually everyone could only make a living while being physically present at his place of employment and while performing a specific task. From plowing a field to stitching an artery, everyone had to be at his physical place of work if he wanted to get paid.
In the 20th century a trend accelerated where intangible work – intellectual property – began to be recognized for its ability to deliver enormous value. Today multi-billion dollar companies like Microsoft and Oracle produce only intellectual property that weighs nothing and can’t be held in the hand. That’s a huge change compared to growing corn or making automobiles.
And you, dear reader, live at this exciting time in history when your intellectual property is recognized as being worth a lot of money – and – because of the Internet, you can create your intellectual property anywhere and distribute it everywhere.
These 3 elements give you more potential than any lottery:
- being alive at this time in history
- being able to read this in English
- having personal access to the Internet
I’ve done many things in my life, including owning a few businesses, but I’ve never experienced anything with the income earning potential of the Internet that also combines the enormous personal freedom it offers. And, in my case, it has endured for nearly ten years now.
You can create something of value and turn it into steady and substantial income without ever leaving your sofa. Moreover, this is the trend of the future not a flash in the pan. Most people don’t even realize they’ve already won a lottery.
